During the course of last year, LEZ was implemented and extended in several cities in Britain, which regularly leads to the accumulation of fines for drivers.

During the course of last year, several cities in United Kingdom implemented and extended the LEZ (Low Emission Zone). Vehicles that do not comply with certain emission standards (more later) are obliged to pay a daily rate to enter these zones. Despite the fact that many low-emission zones have been active for a long time, drivers often face a accumulation of fines. In January this year a Dutch driver received 364 fines on the doormat.
