Wallonia will introduce an increase in the rates for the mileage tax for lorries on 1 January 2025.
Wallonia will increase its mileage toll rates from 1 January 2025. These new rates are intended to compensate for the rising costs of materials and labour in Belgium, two essential factors in maintaining and repairing road infrastructure.
From 2025, lorries with a maximum authorised weight of 3.5 to 12 tonnes pay between €0.055 (Euro 6) and €0.111 (Euro 0) per kilometre. For lorries from 12 to 32 tonnes, the rates are between €0.160 and €0.206 per kilometre, while vehicles weighing more than 32 tonnes pay between €0.191 and €0.247 per kilometre.
