Where traders submitted their applications through the customs portal for years SIDECAR Web has changed the procedure step by step since 2025. The launch of this portal was initially planned for early 2025, but due to technical problems the launch was postponed. Since this summer, the essential errors in the system have been eliminated and the portal is now open for use. There is also good news for those entrepreneurs who have not yet applied for excise duty in France.
